Foggernaut

Foggernauts are just as happy exploring underwater as they are on the battlefield. Not only do these harpoon-artists know how to harness the power of the ocean; they're also fine defenders and masters of movement. Their technomagical turrets bombard everyone within range, be they friend or foe. Make sure you don't drown in a flood of technomagic...

The Foggernauts or Foggernauts' Steam are Technomagic Summoners. They are underwater characters linked to the god Osamodas and make use of summoned turrets to control the field.

A Foggernaut's greatest strength lies in their ability to control the battlefield. Using their turrets, they can create danger zones with Harpooner (where damage will be dealt) and defensive zones with Lifesaver (where heals are handed out). Although watch out, because these zones will affect enemies and allies alike! Strategic placement will therefore be essential if you don't want to heal enemies or slow your allies down. They can also use their Tacturret to position enemies or allies closer to the desired zone.

Turrets can be improved using the spell Evolution, which will enable you to concentrate on one turret in particular and thus take on a certain role in the fight (healer, damage dealer or crowd control).

Characteristics[]

Foggernaut/Softcaps

The Foggernaut's Turrets do rely on their characteristic, unlike other summoner classes such as Sadida or Osamodas.

Main Characteristics:

  • Strength Strength: Ranged good damage spells, especially Trident spell at level 90 can be quite powerful.
  • Chance Chance: Good damage dealer, has a unique push-back buff.
  • Intelligence Intelligence: Has three attack spells, one of them offers a minor life steal(at low lvls), a good aoe, and one of which reduces damage and deals relatively high dmg. It also increases the amount healed by the Foggernaut's spell First aid. Intelligence-based characters are the best healers of this class and do higher base heals than any other class at the expense of strategy options with heals.

Other Characteristics:

  • Agility Agility: Not much point in raising this as the have no attack spells in this element. It is, however, advisable to scroll it for equipment requirements, locks and dodges
  • Wisdom Wisdom: Not recommended for this class as all the Foggernaut's main characteristics don't get higher than 3:1. It's best to use scrolls of Wisdom and equipment to boost this stat instead of stat points gained from level increases.
